He\/she welcomes passengers aboard the vessel, instructs those on board on the basics of safety on board, manages supplies and preserves food on board by taking care of the dining room and providing refreshments, and also cleans and tidies up the cabins. It provides tourist information for customers by organising and booking any stays and\/or visits ashore. He organises and coordinates transport and logistics using digital tools. He also cooperates with other on-board staff in mooring and unmooring operations.    <\/p>\n<p><strong>SITE OF THE COURSE:<\/strong> Viareggio<\/p>\n<p><strong>DURATION:<\/strong> 1,800 hours (including 800 hours of internship)<\/p>\n<p><strong>RECIPIENTS: <\/strong>Young people who have just graduated and adults up to the age of 54 with a secondary school diploma.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCHEDULED START OF COURSES<\/strong>: December 2024<\/p>\n<p><strong>FREE PARTICIPATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Possibility of obtaining <strong>scholarships<\/strong> (to be assessed on the basis of ISEE data)<\/p>\n<p><strong>STCW Basic Training courses included in the course &#8211;<\/strong> STCW certificates required for boarding vessels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACCESS REQUIREMENTS: <\/strong>Second category seafarer registration, valid biennial examination<\/p>\n<p><strong>ARGUMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The luxury yachting sector: services and new trends<\/li>\n<li>Guided tours of companies in the supply chain<\/li>\n<li>Events on board the yacht<\/li>\n<li>Ship theory and safety on board<\/li>\n<li>Crew management and industry regulations<\/li>\n<li>Reception, Customer Care and Customer Satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of catering processes the various services (buffet, cocktails as required)<\/li>\n<li>Mise en place<\/li>\n<li>Management of supplies, food stocks<\/li>\n<li>Housekeeping<\/li>\n<li>Organisation of tourist assistance and services<\/li>\n<li>On-board digital safety and environmental compliance monitoring systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>TITLE RECOGNISED AT THE END OF THE COURSE:<\/strong> Higher technician for the management of on-board passenger support services. <\/p>\n<p><strong>REFERENCE: <\/strong>Sustainable mobility and logistics, mobility of persons and goods with reference to the national senior technical figure for the management of on-board passenger
