He\/she works on the basis of identified and codified responsibilities in relation to the duties envisaged by the grade. The activities that characterise the training course are aimed at achieving the skills, abilities and acquisition of the knowledge referred to in Section A-II\/1 (Deck Officers) of the STCW Convention \u201978\/95 as amended 2010. Applied through DM No. 251 of 25\/07\/2016 of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.<br>The course includes a unified final examination to obtain the ITS diploma and the COC according to D.I. No. 15 of 23\/01\/2018.    <\/p><p><strong>SITE OF THE COURSE: <\/strong>Livorno &#8211; Viareggio<\/p><p><strong>DURATION:<\/strong> Three-year course 2025-2028<br>18000 hous (including 12 months on-board training)<\/p><p><strong>ACCESS REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Second-cycle secondary school diploma from the technical institute specialising in transport and logistics vessel driving option alternatively, certificate from the D.M. 19\/12\/2016 route (formerly alignment).<\/li><li>Subscription to gente di mare<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>TOPICS<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Astronomical navigation<\/li><li>Terrestrial and coastal navigation<\/li><li>Meteorology<\/li><li>Keeping watch<\/li><li>Radar, Arpa radar, Ecdis<\/li><li>Emergency procedures<\/li><li>Manoeuvring and steering<\/li><li>Cargo handling, stowage and lashing<\/li><li>Ship stability<\/li><li>Hints on international conventions on maritime sector and current regulations<\/li><li>English language<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>TITLE RECOGNISED AT THE END OF THE COURSE:<\/strong> The specialisation diploma for \u201csuperior technician for the conduction of the vessel or for the management of on-board installations\u201d (deck officer) corresponds to EQF level VI and will be issued in accordance with Decree 15 of 23\/01\/2018 in order to jointly obtain the ITS title and the professional
