Course description

Graduates of the INTERLOG course work across the various stages of intermodal transport, their interrelationships and integration, and large-scale infrastructure systems, as well as the associated IT systems, whilst also applying the principles of project management; they are involved in the management of the various processes within the logistics supply chain.

They are responsible for managing logistics processes, including transport planning, and the management and coordination of logistics infrastructure and handling processes. They may work in various areas of logistics development: warehouse management, coordination of handling processes, and management of goods flows in import-export transactions, whilst also overseeing administrative and customs matters. They may be responsible for transport planning and the digital and technological development of logistics processes, with a focus on innovation (AI and cybersecurity) and environmental sustainability (optimisation and reduction of fuel consumption).

Planning, organisation and monitoring of intermodal services and the associated operational and technological systems for the transport of goods

Management of vehicles and resources within the logistics chain to ensure the efficiency and safety of goods transport
Project cargo: planning techniques for exceptional transport (plant and machinery, large yachts, etc.)
Planning, management and control of information and/or document flows relating to the transport of goods and passengers
Environmental sustainability and energy saving
Digitalisation of transport planning processes
Cybersecurity
Guided tours of companies within the supply chain

Qualification awarded on completion

National Qualification: ‘Senior Technician in Logistics and Intermodal Transport’. EQF Level 5.
