Logistics and employment: the ISYL Open Day dedicated to the INTERLOG course in Prato
On 18 September at 10 am at the Buzzi Institute, the presentation of the two-year programme for Higher Technician in Logistics and Intermodal Transport.
Training specialised technicians for a sector that requires increasingly specific skills in transport management, supply chain and logistics processes. This is the objective of INTERLOG, Intermodal Logistics Technician, the two-year programme promoted by Fondazione ISYL – Italian Super Yacht Life ITS Academy, which will be presented on Thursday 18 September at 10 am at the Buzzi Institute in Prato, Viale della Repubblica, 9.
INTERLOG is an established programme within ISYL’s training offering and is being proposed again for the 2026-2028 two-year period to respond to the demand for specialised technical professionals from companies and to the concrete employment opportunities offered by the sector. The course prepares professionals capable of working in intermodal logistics, transport planning and supply chain process management, with skills ranging from import-export to warehouse management, from project management to process digitalisation and cybersecurity.
The programme has a total duration of 1,800 hours, including 800 hours of work placement in a company, and leads to the award of the national qualification of “Higher Technician for Logistics and Intermodal Transport”, EQF Level 5.
Applications are open until 27 October 2026.
Skills developed together with companies
The programme covers national and international integrated supply chain and logistics, import-export techniques, planning and monitoring of intermodal services, handling and management of warehouses, project management and project cargo. The programme also includes the planning and control of information and document flows, environmental sustainability and energy saving, the digitalisation of transport planning processes, cybersecurity and guided visits to companies in the supply chain.
The work placement component, as in all ISYL programmes, occupies a significant part of the programme and allows students to engage directly with processes, tools and work organisation. The relationship with companies is one of the central elements of the ITS model and makes it possible to update training content based on the skills required by the market.

The Open Day on 18 September will be an opportunity to learn more about the course, its educational content, the organisation of training activities and the professional opportunities connected to logistics and intermodal transport.
ISYL training offering 2026-2028
INTERLOG is part of the 2026-2028 programme of Fondazione ISYL ITS Academy. Alongside the Prato programme, the offering includes Capobarca and Service Specialist in Viareggio, Design & Construction in Pisa and On Board System in Viareggio. The courses are aimed at young people up to 35 years of age who have not yet turned 35 and hold an upper secondary school diploma.

In its more than 10 years of activity, more than 90% of ISYL graduates have found employment after completing their training programme. This is complemented by the opportunities offered by the ITS system in terms of the right to education and scholarships, which can support students in accessing and attending ISYL Academy programmes. The courses are funded by the Tuscany PR FSE+ 2021/2027 and included within Giovanisì, the Tuscany Region’s project for youth autonomy.
