COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Steward/ Stewardess provides care and assistance to persons embarked on yachts to perform various on-board services. He/she welcomes passengers aboard the vessel, instructs those on board on the basics of safety on board, manages supplies and preserves food on board by taking care of the dining room and providing refreshments, and also cleans and tidies up the cabins. It provides tourist information for customers by organising and booking any stays and/or visits ashore. He organises and coordinates transport and logistics using digital tools. He also cooperates with other on-board staff in mooring and unmooring operations.
SITE OF THE COURSE: Viareggio
DURATION: 1,800 hours (including 800 hours of internship)
RECIPIENTS: Young people who have just graduated and adults up to the age of 54 with a secondary school diploma.

STCW Basic Training courses included in the course – STCW certificates required for boarding vessels.
ACCESS REQUIREMENTS: Second category seafarer registration, valid biennial examination
ARGUMENTS:
TITLE RECOGNISED AT THE END OF THE COURSE: Higher technician for the management of on-board passenger support services.
REFERENCE: Sustainable mobility and logistics, mobility of persons and goods with reference to the national senior technical figure for the management of on-board passenger support services.
