Higher technician for the efficiency, installation and maintenance of on-board electrical and electronic systems
COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course aims to train technical experts in the design, installation and maintenance of on-board systems. He/she works both in the production system and in the maintenance and refit system, he/she takes care of the planning of the different phases of the plant installation orders and organises human resources and materials, adopting the most appropriate measures for the best operation of machines and electrical and electronic systems and for their efficiency. It monitors the application of national and international industry regulations and compliance with safety and quality. He identifies innovative and sustainable technologies and solutions to be applied in the installation and maintenance phases. The Superior Technician works in nautical and naval shipyards, or in specialised subcontracting companies and collaborates on the solution of requests and in the study and development of new solutions and apparatuses, knows how to choose materials and components, knows electrical and electromechanical diagrams and projects, applies regulations, and knows the new technologies at the service of life on board and safety at sea.
SITE OF THE COURSE: Viareggio
DURATION: 1,800 hours (of which 700 hours internship)
RECIPIENTS: No. 25 young people aged between 18 and 35 with a secondary school diploma
