COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Master Boatman is the reference figure in the management of a shipyard’s order, both for the construction of new yachts and in refits; the Master Boatman works alongside the project manager, the shipyard manager where present and the shipowner or his representatives. He is familiar with and applies programming and control techniques using digital tools for order management and interfaces with work teams to coordinate time and results, as well as assessing the level of quality performed, which is necessarily high in view of the fact that most nautical products belong to the luxury sector. He also has good knowledge in the field of on-board plant engineering and ship mechanics.
SITE OF THE COURSE: Viareggio
DURATION: 1,800 hours (including 800 hours of in-company training)
RECIPIENTS: Young people who have just graduated and adults up to the age of 54 with a secondary school diploma.
