Day of celebrations yesterday at the ISYL Foundation, with the inauguration of the year of studies in grand style. The event saw the participation of illustrious city and maritime authorities, esteemed teachers and Maltese and international partners, united in their enthusiasm for ISYL’s ITS study path, which then develops in continuity in collaboration with Gioya Higher Yachting School.
The presentation of an international path and the opportunities of ITS training was at the center of the interventions that followed by the engineer. of Viareggio, Frigate Captain Silvia Bini, Commander of the Port Authority of Viareggio, Sonia Avanzoni, Port System Authority of the Northern Tyrrhenian Sea, Irene Tarabella, Provincial Councilor with responsibility for Education for Versilia, Saverio Cecchi President of Confindustria Nautica, Luca Salamone, Coordinator of the mission structure for maritime policies at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Julio Andrade Director of CIFAL Unitar, Charles Zammit President of Education Malta.
Among the novelties of this day was the presentation of the first Alumni association of an ITS, ISYL Alumni Association, which was joined by a first group of over 500 students who graduated with ISYL in the last few years of activity. This association promises to create a lasting bond between former
students and the ISYL Foundation, helping to promote the continued success of its graduates, thanks to a continuous exchange of ideas and sharing of aspirations for the future.
The new year promises to be very rich and promising with 5 courses starting at the end of October.
